Role: IT Security Manager

We're looking for an experienced IT Security Manager to oversee critical infrastructure protection and information assurance for our federal client! This role includes managing the security process, addressing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) program to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
• Manage risk assessments, vulnerability tracking, and remediation plans.
• Administer security program, collaborate on incident response, and ensure compliance with encryption policies.
• Provide regular security posture reports and updates on policies and assessments.
• Train IT staff on security practices and represent federal agency at oversight meetings.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including managing IT security in federal or healthcare environments.
• Required certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CGRC, or ISC2 CAP.
• Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability tracking, and incident response.
• Familiarity with NIST standards, including SP 800-53 and SP 800-18.
