Performs IT security functions under team supervision participating in the design, implementation, administration, and monitoring of IT security activities and devices in a distributed environment. Typically works with the leadership of the Principal IT Security Architect and IT Security Director. This role follows a hybrid model where employees balance remote work with in-office collaboration based on project needs.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of relevant experience from within the last 5 years in the IT security field including planning, installation, maintenance and problem resolution of IT security systems. This experience can be substituted by education in the fields of IT security, computer science, or a related field, with one year of education substituting for each year of experience. In addition, one year of networking experience. Per Sedgwick County policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid US driver’s license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance.
Preferred Qualifications: Four years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, installation, maintenance and problem resolution of IT security systems. Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field. SEC401.
