About this opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Security Administrator to join our IT Managed Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise security infrastructure, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of critical IT security platforms while delivering services within defined SLAs. The role requires strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and a continuous improvement mindset.
What you will do:
Administer, maintain, and support enterprise security platforms, including:
Pulse Policy Secure (NAC)
Symantec Endpoint Protection
Symantec Protection Engine
Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Blue Coat Secure Web Gateway (ProxySG)
Blue Coat Content Analysis
Blue Coat Malware Analysis
Microsoft Threat Management Gateway (TMG)
Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
DigiCert Enterprise Certificate Management
Ensure the availability, health, and performance of security platforms while meeting defined service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex security incidents, operational issues, and service requests within agreed timelines.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA), trend analysis, and prepare incident reports for recurring or critical issues.
Participate in security incident response activities, including threat containment, eradication, recovery, and remediation using enterprise security tools.
Review system performance and recommend improvements, capacity planning, and performance tuning to maintain optimal service availability.
Plan and execute system upgrades, patching, maintenance activities, and technology refreshes with minimal business impact.
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.
Develop and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Create operational dashboards, reports, KPIs, and metrics to measure service health and operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Network, Endpoint, and Security Operations to resolve complex technical issues.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 support engineers to enhance their troubleshooting and operational capabilities.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, industry standards, and best practices.

Strong understanding of:
Information Security principles and best practices
Network Security concepts (Proxy, NAC, Authentication, Certificates)
Certificate lifecycle management and PKI architecture
Endpoint security technologies
Security monitoring and incident response
Security hardening and vulnerability remediation
Experience with system upgrades, patching, maintenance, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
