What your challenges are

• You will actively shape the future-oriented implementation of eTM and support the complex SAP S/4HANA applications for the transportation management processes (including SAP Logistic Execution–Transportation (LE-TRA) and SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management) that are used worldwide.
• You are interested in further developing and optimizing the IT solutions used in the transportation management processes
• Serve as the primary IT point of contact (“face to the customer”) for Transportation Management topics in the China and the APAC region, representing DBA towards business stakeholders and external partners
• Elicit, analyze, and structure complex business requirements using interviews, workshops, document reviews, and process and data analyses
• Lead regional and global IT and digitalization projects in the Transportation Management area, managing scope, timeline, budget, and resources
• Develop and maintain functional and technical concepts, architecture views, and solution designs aligned with global IT standards
• Actively drive and further develop the Transportation Management IT landscape in the China and APAC region in close alignment with DBA and business functions
• Collaborate closely with global DBA teams, regional business units, and Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, architectural, and regulatory requirements
• Support change management, user enablement, and knowledge transfer activities within the region
• You will support the Run operation including corrective maintenance, housekeeping, participate in internal & external audits, and monitoring & troubleshooting to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business.
• You will be in regular contact with colleagues and key users worldwide, organizing and processing requests for the support and optimization of business processes.
• You will seamlessly operate in a multicultural international environment. Discussions, problem solving, documentation and conducting training courses in English are no problem for you and are rather the rule.

What we are looking for

• You have a university degree in (business) informatics or (business) engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience with a focus on the creation of innovative concepts, in the implementation and implementation of projects, in the takeover of the operation and support of SAP applications (focus: transportation management SAP LE-TRA / SAP TM plus integration to neighboring logistics applications).
• You are interested in new technologies for further automation and simplification of processes and see yourself as an asset and driver of such topics within an innovative IT and product organization.
• You are a strong communicator. You are able to present your ideas to all levels - in the team, vis-à-vis users and management.
• Travel to other locations, both national and international

• You are able to effectively communicate across multiple teams with diverse cultural backgrounds and levels of technical experience.
• Several years of professional experience in an IT consulting or solution role with a focus on Transportation Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills with a clear customer-facing mindset
• Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
• Fluency Chinese language skills and English is requiered
