How You will Make an Impact

As an IT Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be leading a team of professionals to manage and deliver on client engagements whilst also contributing to the execution of the businesses strategy, including business development and capacity building.

In this role, you will develop and coach high performing people and teams, leading, guiding and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client services.

Your main tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Obtaining a solid understanding of the client’s IT environment, including risks and controls, and business needs.
• Developing and updating risk-based IT audit programmes, whilst identifying significant risk exposures relating to IT systems and processes, and providing appropriate, tailored recommendations.
• Execution of tasks related to cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance.
• Execution of IT risk and compliance related internal audits for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that these are scheduled and delivered in line with agreed service levels and high-quality standards.
• Servicing a portfolio of key clients, developing new relationships, and maintaining and strengthening existing ones.
• Contributing to the development of new solutions to meet client needs and to their go to market strategy.
• Working with other Deloitte Businesses to provide end-to-end solutions to clients.
• Building and leading a motivated and effective team, maintaining high-level key talent retention and guiding them to achieve and surpass both professional and business goals.

Your Specialized skills:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business and Computing or equivalent.
• Relevant professional certifications such as: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer we be considered advantageous.
• At least five years of IT governance, risk, compliance and/or audit experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27000 series, NIST, PCI-DSS and Swift security frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT regulatory requirements including DORA and NIS2.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT assurance engagements including IT General Controls reviews, covering access management, change management and computer operations, reviews of other IT areas and IT Application Controls reviews.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance such as cybersecurity strategies, assessments, frameworks, risk management.
• Passion and curiosity for the cybersecurity industry and technology trends, innovations and frameworks, as well as current IT security technologies
• Be an independent and collaborative person who cooperates in one or more project teams to deliver high quality results.
• Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to conduct complex analyses and communicate them clearly and concisely to target audiences of different cultures, technical backgrounds and levels of seniority.
