What will an Information Technology Support Representative do?
The Information Technology Support Representative I performs computer operator functions and will answer questions in support of Goodwill's information technology systems.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Through words and actions support Chattanooga Goodwill’s Mission, Vision, and Values; furthermore, actions and decisions will align with organizational guiding principles.
- Maintain agency, employee, and participants confidentiality. Violation of any privacy may cause termination.
- Assists with the maintenance and administration of the telephone system and phones.
- Assists in supporting corporate applications, servers, and end user desktops and laptops.
- Assists users by answering questions and providing support promptly.
- Records data required to analyze problems and track them to the final solution.
- Help with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archive files and emails.
- Support both existing and new users in technology solutions, both hardware, software, and support.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining system monitoring tools to identify potential technical issues, performance irregularities, and security concerns.
- As/if directed, implement and oversee backup, recovery, and performance optimization strategies.
- Assists in the installation and maintenance of camera systems.
- Participates in after-hours on call rotation, supporting POS, computers, and peripherals at Goodwill locations.
- Helps Maintain equipment assignments by recording/reporting all equipment moves/changes as necessary.
- Regular attendance is an essential function.
- May require travel to company locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of a high school diploma plus two years of similar or related experience required.
- Hands-on experience within a domain network, Azure AD, MS Intune, Azure AI, and CoPilot are helpful.
- Familiarity with developing and deploying AI-driven solutions to optimize business operations.
- Familiarity with Integrating AI capabilities with existing business systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Stay updated on AI and cloud advancements, recommending relevant innovations.
- Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft software.
- Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Be familiar with remote support and be able to walk end users verbally through troubleshooting steps for many scenarios.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are key in this position.
- Driver license for 3 years.
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance verification are required.
- Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
