The IT Reporting Specialist supports multiple departments by developing and maintaining accurate, actionable reports with a strong focus on Quality reporting. This role works closely with clinical, pharmacy, finance, dental, operations, and administrative teams to deliver data-driven insights, including HEDIS, UDS, and Gaps in Care reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain reports across multiple departments
Partner closely with the Quality team on HEDIS, UDS, and Gaps in Care reporting
Extract, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy
Collaborate with department leaders to define reporting needs and deliver solutions
Use SQL, IBM Cognos, or similar tools to build and maintain reports
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and HIPAA compliance
Stay current on reporting tools, data analysis methods, and industry best practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Information Technology or 1+ year of healthcare reporting or analytics experience
3+ years of experience with SQL and reporting tools (IBM Cognos or similar)
Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
Experience with Electronic Medical and/or Dental Record systems
Healthcare or FQHC experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced SQL proficiency
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

GENERAL PURPOSE:
The IT Reporting Specialist will serve as a pivotal resource within our organization, primarily focusing on multi-departmental report writing, including but not limited to Quality, Clinical, Pharmacy, IT, Finance, Dental, Operations, and administrative departments. This role necessitates significant interaction with various departments, with a heavy emphasis on Quality, to fulfil numerous report requests.

The IT Reporting Specialist will operate in a comfortable office environment and must meet the following physical requirements:
