About the Role

We are currently undergoing an exciting transformation following a recent acquisition, modernising, and unifying our technology ecosystem. As an IT Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging our current data infrastructure with our future-state enterprise platforms.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, data accuracy, stakeholder management, and adaptability. You will be responsible for building data pipelines, enabling data models, and delivering critical reporting across both legacy systems and incoming enterprise tools. If you are self-motivated, eager to learn, and thrive in an evolving environment where you have full ownership of your work, this is an ideal opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Engineering & Modelling: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems. Enable scalable dimensional data models within our enterprise warehouse.
  • Data Accuracy & Reconciliation: Ensure absolute data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all financial, sales, and operational outputs. Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts during ongoing system transitions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery: Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders across the global organization to capture, clarify, and document reporting requirements. Translate complex requests into functional technical specifications and deliver actionable data solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation: Present key insights, reports, and dashboards clearly to non-technical leaders and operational teams alike.
  • Transition & Mapping: Support reporting and data integrations during our transition from our legacy stack toward enterprise solutions. Adapt quickly as architectural choices and tooling selections are finalized across ERP, CRM, and ETL layers, assisting in mapping legacy schemas to future-state platforms.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively audit existing reporting workflows and data pipelines to identify inefficiencies. Propose and implement concrete improvements to internal processes, data governance, and ways of working.
  • Documentation: Document data definitions, process flows, data dictionaries, and system configurations to ensure continuity and clarity.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Core Business Process Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of enterprise end-to-end data workflows, including Lead-to-Cash (L2C), Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles. Proven ability to trace data elements across sales, operational, and financial stages.
  • Self-Motivation & Independence: Proven ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively across time zones, and take full ownership of deliverables.
  • Communication & Liaison: Confident, articulately spoken communicator capable of interfacing directly with global stakeholders from operational staff to senior leadership.
  • Problem-Solving & Accuracy: Meticulous attention to detail with an uncompromising commitment to data precision and quality assurance.
  • Adaptability & Learning Agility: Fast learner with a proactive mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving architectural requirements during system migrations.
  • Process Optimization Mindset: A track record of identifying structural inefficiencies, suggesting alternative approaches, and driving continuous improvement in analytics workflows.

Technical Experience & System Knowledge

We are actively transitioning our technology stack. Experience or strong working familiarity with the following technology categories is required:

  • SQL & Cloud Data Warehousing: 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL scripts for data extraction, joining, transformation, and database optimisation. Hands-on experience structuring dimensional models inside modern cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • ETL / Data Pipeline Development: Proven ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot production ETL/ELT data pipelines using modern cloud data integration platforms.
  • Enterprise Business Applications: Practical experience extracting, staging, and modelling data from core enterprise applications across Cloud ERP, CRM, and CPQ/Billing platforms.
  • Data Governance & Integrity: Demonstrated experience creating data auditing checks, automated reconciliation scripts, and data validation rules to guarantee 100% accuracy in financial and operational reporting outputs.

Here at MediaKind, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive workplace where we appreciate the unique skills, capabilities and perspectives that our people bring. We believe that diverse teams are better for our employees, customers, and our business. Everyone’s identity, background, and life experiences add to the MediaKind story, and we welcome all.
