About the Role

We are expanding our IT Operations and looking for an experienced IT Project Manager.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with ambitions for personal success, who enjoys working in a Team environment, managing timelines and ensuring successful delivery while aligning with business objectives.

The candidate must have experience in managing full project lifecycles, from planning and execution to delivery, preferably in Fintech, Brokerage or Banking Sectors.

Reporting Line - Director, Web Interfaces

Worksite: Remote/ Hybrid/ On-site

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis & Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and document functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Agile Process Leadership: Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and work item creation. Own end-to-end process understanding from customer request to delivery including story/bug detailing and prioritisation.

  • Technical Documentation: Produce clear, concise functional and technical specifications for developers, QA, and other stakeholders.

  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide timely technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving system issues.

  • Technical Hands-On Work: Write and optimise SQL queries, test APIs (Swagger, Postman), and analyse data flows to support development and debugging.

  • Process Improvement: Evaluate existing IT systems/processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimisations for scalability and performance.

  • Quality Assurance Coordination: Partner with QA teams to validate features against requirements and facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years in IT project management, business analysis, or a related technical role (e.g., QA, development).

  • Domain Knowledge: Fintech, brokerage, or banking IT experience is a strong plus.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SQL and API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).

    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).

  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication able to bridge gaps between technical teams and business stakeholders.

    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving agility (navigates ambiguity, drives non-obvious tasks to completion).

    • Adaptability thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

  • Language: Working proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Coding/scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, etc.).

  • Certification in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA).
