Zumtobel Group is preparing for the future through a comprehensive digital transformation journey, with data playing a central role in enabling business growth and innovation. As part of this transformation, we are defining our Data Lake strategy and building the foundations for a scalable, future-ready data ecosystem.

To support this key project, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who will coordinate cross-functional teams, align business and technical stakeholders, manage project activities, and help drive the initiative from analysis through implementation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact enterprise project and shape the foundation of Zumtobel Group’s future data landscape.

Responsibilities

Steering Digitalization Projects:

Lead enterprise-wide projects as part of the digitalization strategy, coordinating implementations alongside stakeholders from various departments and your IT team.
Develop detailed project plans, including the allocation of personnel, financial, and time resources.
Manage the project team, oversee project activities, and make decisions to ensure successful project delivery.

Strategic Leadership:

Drive initiatives to align structures and processes for growth while ensuring efficiency.
Understand how IT can optimize business operations and leverage the innovation potential of current software solutions.

Project Optimization:

Ensure maximum project value by assembling the right team, including external specialists, integrating diverse perspectives, and advocating for user-friendly solutions.
Utilize Microsoft 365 (O365) tools effectively, such as Azure DevOps, MS Planner, to streamline project workflows and enhance collaboration.

Skills & Experience

Process and People Orientation

Previous experience in project management, including familiarity with common methodologies and tools.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (O365) applications, including MS Planner, Azure DevOps, Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools to enhance project efficiency.
Experience with SAP is beneficial but not required.
A strong interest in digitalization within an industrial environment.
A proactive mindset with a passion for driving digital transformation and making a meaningful impact.
Ideally, experience with change management projects and an understanding of project leadership as a people-focused role.
A solution-driven approach with a strong focus on achieving results.
The ability to engage and align project teams and stakeholders through enthusiasm, clear arguments, and empathy.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with national and international partners.
