IT Project Manager – Cybersecurity | OT & Infrastructure Security

About the Role

An organization operating in a highly secure and technically complex environment is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager – Cybersecurity to lead ICT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.

The role focuses on managing projects related to enterprise infrastructure, operational technology (OT), network security, and cybersecurity governance while ensuring the continuity, reliability, and security of critical systems and operations.

This opportunity is ideal for a project manager with strong cybersecurity expertise and experience working in industrial or operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate ICT and cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery

Define project scope, timelines, planning, governance, and resource allocation

Create project charters and project proposals

Coordinate internal teams, technical specialists, vendors, and external consultants

Ensure complete and accurate project and process documentation

Analyze business and operational ICT needs and translate them into secure technology solutions

Support optimization of ICT infrastructure, servers, enterprise applications, and networks

Monitor cybersecurity risks, security findings, and remediation actions

Contribute to firewall implementation, infrastructure hardening, and operational security improvements

Plan and oversee maintenance activities for ICT infrastructure and systems

Evaluate emerging technologies, suppliers, and cybersecurity solutions

Maintain and improve ICT operational processes, procedures, and governance

Train and support ICT teams on standards, procedures, and best practices

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

5–8 years of experience in ICT project management and cybersecurity

Proven experience managing infrastructure and/or cybersecurity projects

Experience working within OT (Operational Technology) environments

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and ICT infrastructure

Experience with networks, virtualization, storage, and cloud technologies

Experience with PLC and SCADA environments

Familiarity with OT and/or security camera networks

Experience with security monitoring and incident response

Strong technical and functional analysis capabilities

Experience with ICT maintenance and operational support

Security Frameworks & Standards

Familiarity with NIST CSF

ISO 27001 / ISO 27002

CCB Cyber Fundamentals (CyFun)

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) methodologies and tooling

Additional Requirements

CISSP certification or equivalent hands-on information security experience

Knowledge of public procurement procedures is considered an asset

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Dutch language proficiency required
