Managing IT projects for the public sector in Lithuania.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Organize the implementation of information system development and maintenance projects;
Create and implement project definitions, plans, budgets, and objectives for IT projects, starting from sales phase;
Manage project teams, tasks and resources, as well as the work quality;
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
Forecast the needs for additional qualifications and resources required for the project;
Manage project risks, ensure timely risk identification and escalation;
Manage relationship with vendors, contractors and other parties by acting as the central point of contact;
Perform continuous assessments of project progress, team performance;
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics;
Take ownership and full responsibility for projects success and achieving the goals;
WHAT WE EXPECT:
University degree preferably in IT, mathematics or business administration;
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.);
5+ years of project management experience;
Experience working with the public sector and/or multi-cultural teams would be an advantage;
Ability to effectively communicate with your team, clients and managers, as well as to organize and optimize areas of work in a changing environment;
Strong teamwork, organizational, prioritization, negotiation, problem-solving, presentation and time management skills;
Project management certificates (CompTia+, PMP, Prince & etc. );
Excellent Lithuanian language proficiency & fluent communication in English.
