Are you our new IT Project Manager?

As an IT Project Manager at Intrum in Athens, you will be responsible for leading and delivering technology initiatives that support the Greece market and contribute to Intrum’s broader transformation agenda. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with Group IT standards and governance.
Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and Group functions, you will coordinate end-to-end project delivery while driving collaboration, transparency, and operational excellence across initiatives.

What will you do:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution and successful completion
• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective project execution
• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where needed
• Ensure alignment with Group IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support change management and communication activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to local management and Group stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes, tools, and ways of working

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or related delivery roles
• Proven experience delivering complex IT initiatives, including systems implementations, integrations, or transformation projects
• Good understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches
• Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership mentality
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

It's a plus if you bring:

• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
