Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
• Implement project management best practices across all IT units, covering every phase from initiation to support.
• Lead and manage strategic projects.
• Develop and present business cases for project initiation.
• Support requirements gathering, business process documentation, and business analysis.
• Establish standards for deliverables at each project phase.

Strategic :

• Plan and execute projects, collaborating with IT team leads to apply best practices.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Outline project tasks and allocate resources.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines.
• Assemble and coordinate project teams.
• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Evaluate project outcomes and assess results.

Administrative

• Support the GM of IT in managing the IT portfolio and reporting progress.
• Work on special projects assigned by the GM of IT.
• Help establish IT best practice processes.
• Draft business cases for assigned projects.
• Document business processes and assist team members as needed.
• Ensure project requirements and deliverables are met.
• Update documentation to reflect development changes and new implementations.

Functional

• Provide guidance and support to project teams.
• Act as a business analyst and ensure quality assurance.
• Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting issues and solutions.
• Document and analyze business processes.
• Manage project changes and interventions.

General

• Perform tasks assigned by the GM of IT.
• Participate in cross-training as directed.
• Serve as an alternate for colleagues when needed.
• Adhere to IT department policies and information security standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum required experience of 10 years of which 5 years in PMO role.
• Bachelors degree in IT or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required to demonstrate proficiency in project management.
• Certification in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), is advantageous
