We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a programme of new retail store openings on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of technology delivery across multiple concurrent site launches — working with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and on-site teams to ensure each opening is delivered on time and to specification.
This is a fast-moving, hands-on role. The right person will be comfortable operating at pace, managing competing priorities, and keeping complex delivery programmes on track.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and drive project plans for new store technology deployments from pre-build through to go-live
Manage stakeholder communication across internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
Coordinate delivery of network infrastructure, retail technology (POS/EPOS), and AV systems across each site
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues; escalate appropriately
Produce clear, timely project reporting for senior stakeholders
Liaise across EMEA time zones to maintain programme momentum
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrable project management experience, ideally with a recognised methodology (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
Proven track record delivering technology projects in a retail environment
New store openings experience is a strong advantage
Practical knowledge of network infrastructure, retail technology, and AV systems
Immediately available or able to start by 20 April 2025
East coast based preferred to support EMEA coordination windows
Strong communicator — able to manage multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholder groups simultaneously
