Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for an onsite position in Columbus, OH.

• Accountable for the execution of Information Technology (IT) projects of moderate size, risk, and complexity.
• Employs their skills, talents, and knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g. Scrum, waterfall) to assure high quality products are delivered while optimizing the cost and delivery of value.
• Maintains complete transparency on the current state of the project, and maintains complete transparency on the forecast cost and delivery.
• Enables project stakeholders to make good business decisions based on project transparency.
• Coaches the project team members on the art of project execution as it pertains to the project management framework being utilized.
• Enables and promotes team level continuous improvement activities that increase quality and optimize delivery of value.
  
• Verify project scope and determine methods of managing and controlling
• Plan, estimate, schedule and trend the less complex project
• Estimate, budget and control project cost
• Develop, implement and manage quality assurance programs
• Identify and manage project risk
  
• Develop and manage procurement plans
• Coaches team members on project management skills and techniques

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, OR Associate's degree with 2 years' of related technical/project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related business or technical/project management experience.
  
• 7+ years of experience managing projects that impact cross functional business areas.
• Certification or degree aligned with project management discipline (PMP, or Scrum Master cert preferred)
  
• Experience managing teams.
  
• Strong organization & communication skills.
  
• Experience with water fall and scrum methodology.
  
• Experience managing projects for Supply Chain & Purchasing business is preferred, but not mandatory.
  
• Experience with Executive level status reporting
  
• Experience with MS Project and Jira a plus
  
• Experience with multiple project types (e.g., in-house development, vendor, off-shore) is expected.
  
• Knowledge and experience using multiple project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Waterfall) is a plus.
  
• Promotes continuous improvement within the project team
  
• Communicate effectively with peers, business partners, and mid-level management
