Are you an expert in the field of WMS, CMS and EDI/API? And do you have experience in managing large projects for logistic warehouse processes? Then at GXO we are looking for you as IT Project Manager!

What you do on a typical day

As IT Project Manager, you are constantly working on the implementation of IT applications for existing and new customers of GXO. In cooperation with our Sales / Engineering and Operations teams, you are responsible for providing the best IT solution for our logistics operations. Besides offering these IT solutions, you also have the great task of realizing these solutions. Of course, you do this together with internal IT specialists and business specialists. In this realization phase, you combine your project management skills with your detailed application and logistics knowledge to ensure a smooth implementation. In this role, you have final responsibility for the IT solution, budget and planning of these IT Projects, while also being the point of contact for the customer.

You will work in the central IT department, where IT is taken care of for all GXO sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will report to the Manager IT - Implementations.

• You assure high quality implementations of distribution centers for new and existing customers
• You design, organize and monitor the overall IT project plan including the individual project tasks. You identify risks and take the necessary actions to prevent them
• You collect, formalize and validate the functional and non-functional business IT requirements for the project
• You lead your IT project team, you support on the content and you are a sparring partner for the team
• You are responsible for drawing up and managing a master test plan, go live runbook and coordination of 'Go live' support
• You report on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders on the progress, timelines and budget of the project
• You will spend most of your time working at the various GXO locations in the Netherlands and Belgium (in combination with your home office)

What you need to succeed at GXO

• You have a minimum of Bachelor's work and thinking level
• You have excellent knowledge of WMS systems and logistical warehouse processes, preferably in a 3PL environment
• You have at least 4 years of experience in managing large projects and you use structured methods to manage projects
• You have excellent written and spoken knowledge in English. Dutch is a big plus advantage.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and powers of persuasion
• Experience in a complex, high demanding and fast-paced international environment, preferably in Supply Chain industry
• You drive high performance in the team
