Job Summary:
IT Project Manager working with multiple business units across the organization to manage projects, gather requirements, manage changes/issues, coordinate testing with SMEs, coordinates with IT teams on process improvements and metrics tracking. Works with Fabick IT and third-party vendors to implement project requirements, timeline tracking, testing functionality, change requests and production issues. Will be the subject matter expert for IT on select business applications to help facilitate and plan business and systems impacts of requested changes and enhancements.
Responsibilities:
*Acts as a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or a short to intermediate duration. Leads meetings with project team to assess status and resolve issues as they come up. Reviews and tracks status of projects and deliverables and provides updates and ongoing cost analysis to IT and business leaders. Ability to communicate with executive leaders on project status and current issues.
*Defines, documents, and negotiates system change requests. Prepares time and cost estimates for completing application changes and projects. Considers business implications of the systems changes and communicates to affected groups.
*Works with multiple vendors, IT and business partners to manage application and system changes, assists with system testing, migration or implementation of systems. Ensures the release process is followed by the vendor, IT and business partners.
*Gathers business requirements and works with internal IT teams to review, analyze, and evaluate complex business systems and user needs. Drives the research of current systems and processes in conjunction with the business and IT team members. Summarizes recommendations for possible solutions.
*Works collaboratively with IT and business partners to resolve issues.
*Ability to mentor internal customers in use of analytical tools, assist in the identification and development of data requirements, extrapolate data into information to drive process improvements.
*Supports the teams in developing new metrics and refining current metrics definitions. Supports audits of data management processes to ensure accuracy and documents existing processes for standard reports and identifies opportunities for process improvements.
*Works on Help Desk tickets and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience as a Project Manager is required.
*2 years or more of previous project management experience is required.
*5 years or more of experience in information systems environment required.
*2 years or more of experience working with IT vendors is required.
*Demonstrated ability to coordinate people and teams to project completion.
*Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
*Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must.
*Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to meet business requirements
*Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues with innovative solutions.
*Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines.
*Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.
*Ability to manage multiple project and work efforts simultaneously.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
*Willingness to work a flexible schedule and some travel to accommodate business requirements.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend and stoop to perform the essential functions of this job.
* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
* Strong verbal and non-verbal communication daily.
