About the role

There is currently a job opening “IT Project Manager”, in the department of Information Tech/Systems. As an IT Project Manager, you will be accountable for planning, executing, and delivering the strategic and operational IT projects successfully. Additionally, you will play a key role in scoping, organizing, and driving projects that support AEGEAN’s business goals, ensuring timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to agreed cost, scope, and quality objectives. What you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with business requirements
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to achieve defined project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, scope statements, and resource allocations
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation and corrective actions as required
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and timely updates on project status, risks, and progress
  • Oversee upgrades, migrations, and deployments of IT systems across infrastructure, application, and service platforms
  • Support and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning as part of IT project delivery
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and quality standards

You fit, if you cover the following requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in a relevant field of studies
  • 2 years of professional working experience in IT project management or a similar role is mandatory
  • Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
  • Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar will be considered as an asset
  • Experience working in large scale industries, such as aviation, transportation, or any other related environments will be preferred

And you have competence in:

  • Communicating effectively in a structured manner, with all stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
  • Problem solving and managing projects in an efficient manner
  • Demonstrating adaptability and managing changing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Handling confidential information by demonstrating high sense of professionalism
