IT Project Engineer
As IT Project Engineer, you play a significant role in the delivery of the IT infrastructure for automated material handling systems for our customers in the APAC region. You have a strong background in IT infrastructure components such as networking, server/client hardware, operating systems, and middleware. You can advise an IT solution based on customer and architecture design requirements. Moreover, you are familiar with implementing cyber security guidelines. As IT Engineer you work together with an international team of specialist and local subcontractors.
Vanderlande understands the complexities associated with a successful airport and parcel operation and delivers future proof logistic process automation. These automation systems are composed of many (electro-) mechanical, IT and controls components that require expert knowledge to support.
As IT Project Engineer you have a strong affinity with networking, virtualization, linux and windows operating systems and the hardware they run on. As IT Project Engineer you will work on multiple regional projects to commission such systems and provide expert support during their operational use.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As IT Project Engineer you are part of the Integration Team APAC. Based on your field of interest there is opportunity to grow to a specialized or manager role within the service or project execution department.
Your department
The APAC project integration department is part of the business unit Airport & Parcel Solutions within Vanderlande Industries. The department is responsible for system design, testing and integration of complex Airport and Parcel systems for customer in the Asia Pacific region like Changi, Hong Kong and Sydney airport and DHL, FedEx and UPS international customers. The department works in an international team setting with people from different countries with different cultural backgrounds.
Your Profile
You are a born IT engineer who can balance between client demand and internal stakeholders. You have a strong background in delivering and supporting IT infrastructure. You like to work together in an international multi-disciplinary team of engineers.
