About the role

The IT Product Manager drives the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Dealer Originations technology solutions, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver capabilities that create measurable business value. This role leads product prioritization, manages the initiative backlog, identifies and mitigates delivery risks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance, enhance user experiences, and ensure successful execution of strategic objectives.

In this role you will:

• Understand and execute on the vision, strategic priorities and goals of Dealer Originations, translating them into a roadmap of capabilities and enhancements that provide measurable business value
• Contribute to successful, continuous and on time delivery of product capabilities, by identifying risks and developing and recommending mitigation strategies
• Lead the backlog of initiatives, aligning experiences across teams and touchpoints to ensure the best business results
• Troubleshoot and research issues related to risk, dependencies, behaviors, or performance to identify what is impacting delivery and determine how to address
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of Dealer Origination strategies through stewardship, influence, motivation and change leadership
• Lead the prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results
• Participate in the planning of the future direction of Dealer Originations delivery strategy and features by combining business needs and insights with customer feedback to establish delivery roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Identify optimization opportunities for continuous product improvement
• Influence, nurture, and lead a team of direct-report team members charged with implementing the product roadmap
• Perform other duties as assigned

What makes you an Ideal candidate?

• Deep understanding of and experience in product management / ownership, software product lifecycle, road mapping, and agile methodologies
• Experience working with delivery teams and collaborating with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, etc.
• A proven track record of project execution, completing and shipping excellent products on time and on budget
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration and team skills
• Ability to dive into performance measurements with teams to help optimize and find key insights into performance
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to synthesize analytic results into relevant and strategic recommendations
• Ability to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent skills creating and managing a roadmap of features and enhancements

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:

• Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
• Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
• Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
• Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection

Work Experience & Education

• Agile Certifications required
• 4-6 years' experience as a Product Owner/Manager on an Agile team required
• Experience leading others through influence preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree or additional equivalent experience required

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay and quarterly bonus eligibility.
