IT PRODUCT EXPERT,OPERATIONS SOLUTIONS

tothe Technical Operations area.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to onboard your skills and competencies to work withFinnairOperations ApplicationsTechnicalOperations(TechOps)IT team. In this role, you act as an IT product expert andare responsible formanaging the IT support and maintenance ofvarious TechOps areaapplications.  

We are responsible tomaintainand enhance several technical operations applications, in which the most critical applications are SWISS AS AMOS and Lufthansa Technik’sAviatarlogbook. There are currently several digitalization initiatives in the operationsarea,and your role is toparticipatein those together with the business, ensuring successful implementations followed by Finnairs standards.  

  

MainResponsibilities

  • Support and development ofTechOpsapplications.

  • Acting as a subject matter expertonyour own area applications.

  • Participating in external partnermeetings,ensuringthat business and other benefits are wellutilized  

  • Diagnose, test, troubleshoot and resolve issues related toTechOpsapplications.

  • Advise users onappropriate actionsbased on issues described. You will have responsibility for the documentation and instructions of the applications within your own area of expertise.

  • Identifyand escalate situations requiring urgent attention and, whenrequired, redirect problems to theappropriate resource.

  • Participate in projectsinyour own areas of service and applications. Evaluate new functionalities of applications or IT services and deploy approved features .

In thisroleyou are expected to support applications and those interfaces technically. You should have general IT knowledge able to work in this rolesuccessfully  

Ourexpectations

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge .

  • Experience with Linux OS, AWS,JIRAand SQL .

  • Knowledge ofAircraft MaintenanceIT applications or AMOS application is considered an advantage.

  • Understanding ofaircraftmaintenance processesis considered an advantage.

  • Experience of working in an agileand cycle based(CI/CD)environments.

  • ExcellentwrittenandspokenEnglish.

This position islocatedat the Finnair headquarters inVantaa,but we work in a flexible hybrid model.
