The IT Procurement and Asset Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end IT procurement and asset lifecycle processes across North and South America. This role partners closely with IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate purchasing, asset tracking, inventory management, and financial reconciliation.
This individual will play a key role in maintaining asset integrity across systems (ServiceNow, SAP), optimizing vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement through reporting, analytics, and cost-saving initiatives.
Manage IT procurement processes, including creating purchase orders in SAP and vendor portals based on ServiceNow requests
Track and stage IT orders to ensure timely delivery within defined SLAs and provide status updates to stakeholders
Receive, inventory, and distribute IT equipment across supported sites and internal IT teams
Maintain accurate IT asset records across ServiceNow (CMDB) and SAP, including onboarding and offboarding activities
Perform asset reconciliation against vendor invoices to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock across multiple locations
Develop and oversee e-waste processes, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and environmental standards
Conduct regular audits of IT assets, software licenses, and cellular services to ensure accuracy and compliance
Partner with vendors to procure hardware/software, manage licensing, and ensure contract compliance
Monitor and manage legal hold inventory, including tracking and maintaining associated assets
Develop and maintain asset management processes and documentation aligned with departmental guidelines
Perform spend analysis and generate financial and operational reports for leadership
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive process improvements
Manage vendor relationships, including pricing negotiations and service catalog oversight
Assign, remove, and audit software usage to minimize cost and risk exposure
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Procurement and/or IT Asset Management
Experience working with SAP for procurement and financial tracking
Hands-on experience with ITSM/CMDB systems such as ServiceNow
Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
7–10 years of experience in IT Asset Management or IT Procurement
IT Asset Management certifications (CHAMP, CSAM)
ITIL v4 certification
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT or business field
Experience with mobile device management tools such as AirWatch or Intune
Experience supporting global or multi-site organizations
