About the role

Would you like to be responsible for developing the future of Communication Composition and Distribution solutions? We in Application Platforms are a unit responsible for business-critical IT infrastructure and application platforms in If. We take care of vital IT services, such as data and hosting platforms and Document Management.

What are you going to do?

  • Ensure the Communication Composition and Distribution Platform delivers stable, reliable, and business‑critical services to internal stakeholders and end customers

  • Develop and maintain the Document Composition and Distribution platform supporting key insurance systems and customer communication

  • Drive platform initiatives and deliver high‑quality, consistent customer communications across multiple channels

  • Act as Product Owner, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, customer communication teams, and vendors

  • Own the platform lifecycle, including roadmap and budget planning, capability development, and prioritization

  • Collect and translate business needs into platform capabilities and actionable delivery plans

  • Lead production support and operational activities, including incident handling, problem management, and business continuity

What do we expect from you?

  • Tech‑savvy IT professional with a strong technical foundation and a business‑oriented mindset, enjoying work with evolving platforms that support modern business needs

  • End‑to‑end ownership across the full platform lifecycle, including design, development, operations, and continuous improvement of business‑critical IT solutions

  • Experience leading projects and platform initiatives from planning to execution, with strong analytical, solution‑oriented thinking and the ability to guide technical direction

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, platform architecture, and Agile ways of working, including tools such as Azure DevOps

  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource management, supporting both delivery and long‑term capability development

  • Goal‑driven and curious mindset, motivated to build reliable, scalable, and cost‑efficient platforms with a focus on standards, governance, and long‑term sustainability

  • Strong ownership mentality with excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders and development teams

  • Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English to communicate with clients and colleagues in other countries

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
