The primary purpose and function of the IT Operations Manager role are to lead and oversee the IT operations team, ensuring the effective management of hardware and software assets, IT contract renewals, telephony expenses, IT invoicing, and procurement analysis.

The role is focused on driving operational efficiency, standardization, and cost-effectiveness across global IT activities, while also contributing to the implementation of strategic initiatives and optimizing IT processes to support the overall business objectives of Molson Coors Beverage Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Setting clear performance expectations
  • Providing guidance and support
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations
  • Fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture
  • Making decisions related to resource allocation, task assignments, and performance management, impacting the team's effectiveness and overall performance.

IT Asset Management:

  • Collaborates closely with the IT Asset Manager, to oversee the utilization of the companies’ tools for hardware and software asset management across all global MCBC entities providing recommendations, guidance and contextual decision making into asset tracking, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing asset utilization, and minimizing compliance risks.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations, providing escalation assistance as needed, collaborating closely, with key IT, security, and business representatives to implement and enhance existing solutions while expanding the scope of the team when applicable.
  • Effective asset management decisions play a critical role in cost control and regulatory compliance.

Migrations:

  • Executes on growth plan and agreed transitions for designated teams and/or processes, relating to IT operational activities, including but not limited to, asset management activities, telephony management and software and hardware renewal activities.
  • Responsible for strategizing and coordinating migration plans, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruptions to business operations. They will make decisions regarding the timing, risk assessment, resource allocation, and communication strategies during migration processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drives IT related continuous improvement activities across the broader team.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance IT processes, services, and performance.
  • Encourage the team to identify areas for optimization, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to assess current methodologies, evaluate emerging technologies, and benchmark against industry standards.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, the Manager will elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations, ultimately contributing to Molson Coors Beverage Company's overall strategic objectives and maintaining a competitive edge in the dynamic landscape of IT solutions and services.

Support technology implementation:

  • Supporting technology implementation in driving the organization's digital transformation. This entails collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors
  • Play a critical role in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure smooth technology deployments.
  • Oversee the testing, training, and post-implementation support phases, working closely with the team to address any challenges and maximize the benefits of the new technologies.
  • By effectively supporting technology implementation, the Manager contributes to Molson Coors Beverage Company's innovation and operational excellence, enabling the company to adapt to evolving market demands and stay at the forefront of the industry.

Documentation Management System (DMS)

  • Ensuring the adoption rate of the tool and driving said adoption through follow-ups, close monitoring, maintain and push topics related to the tool in the agenda of the tower, ensure timeliness of upload and revision.
  • Facilitating communication: The Operations Manager may serve as a bridge between the operational team and the admin or Product Owner, communicating feedback and issues and helping to ensure that new features and updates are communicated effectively to the operational team.

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced English level, both written and spoken

Preferred:

  • Understanding of ITIL Foundations version 3 or version 4 (Certification Preferred)
  • Oriented towards teamwork, collaborates well with colleagues, and obtain results.
  • Prior experience in Shared Service Centers is a plus.
  • Prior experience / knowledge of ITAM and CMDB tools.
