IT Operations Center Specialist I – Join Our 24/7 IT Operations Team

Are you passionate about technology, problem solving, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an IT Operations Center (ITOC) Specialist I to provide frontline monitoring, incident response, and technical support for critical business systems across a 24/7 enterprise environment.

As an ITOC Specialist I, you will serve as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, perform initial troubleshooting, monitor enterprise infrastructure and applications, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely communication during service disruptions. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive under pressure, enjoy working as part of a team, and are looking to build a career in IT operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow established procedures.
  • Experience working in a service desk, network operations center (NOC), security operations center (SOC), help desk, or other 24/7 operational environment is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Foundational knowledge of Windows, networking, Microsoft 365, and enterprise support tools is a plus.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor critical systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests.
  • Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate support teams following established procedures.
  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders during outages and service interruptions.
  • Contribute to operational excellence by following processes, procedures, and knowledge articles.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Customer Service & 1 year previous experience in a technology field preferred
  • ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred
  • Knowledge of basic computer operation and troubleshooting efforts required
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Ability to type quickly & accurately required
  • Typing speed of 50 WPM preferred
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and phone etiquette skills
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office application suite required
  • CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation certification preferred
  • Ability to obtain gaming license in Nevada as well as other jurisdictions where Boyd conducts business
