 About the Role

Our client is looking for an IT Officer with exceptional technology skills. The optimal candidate should be prompt at providing technical support to ensure smooth daily operation of computer systems, networks and supporting tech equipment.

The prospective employee must be able to work under extreme duress and handle any type of emergency with professionalism. To be successful in this position, the candidate needs to collaborate effectively with vendors to serve tailor made IT solution for the company. Preferred candidates are organized, well-informed, empathetic, and highly adaptive to changing IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, and maintain LAN and WAN network infrastructure and related devices.
• Configure and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, user accounts, and access permissions according to established security levels.
• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for computer hardware, including PCs, disk drives, printers, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues through testing of computers and network-connected devices.
• Maintain and administer systems, databases, and company websites. Develop and maintain an inventory of IT assets, including monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
• Monitor system and network performance to ensure optimal operation and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security measures and protocols to safeguard company information and ensure data integrity.
• Respond promptly to users' queries and provide technical support for hardware and software-related issues.
• Manage and maintain intra-office network layout and connectivity.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot MikroTik and Cisco routers and network devices. Assist users with software applications, including installation, upgrades, configuration, and user training.
• Ensure regular system backups and support disaster recovery processes.
• Maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure, network configurations, and technical procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment procurement, maintenance, and support.

 Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Candidates with 1-2 years of work experience in a similar position will be preferred. But we are also open to hiring a fresher with similar skills for the role.
• CCNA, Windows Server, and other vendor exam certificates in network administration, as well as practical experience with network administration.
• Efficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• High-level organizational skills. Ability to do multiple things at once and work in a fast-paced environment.

 Employment Structure

• Onsite in Dhaka, Bangladesh| Full-time
• Salary: BDT 30,000-45,000
• Benefits: Co-contribution Provident fund on basic salary 5% + monthly Attendance & Performance bonus + Insurance + Two Festival Bonuses
• Work Week: Saturday-Thursday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (Should be available to work remotely if needed)
