Job Description

Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer

Company & Team Introduction:

Purpose of the Role:

Own the local office IT relationship, ensuring all engagement, prioritisation and decision-making channels operate in line with Group-wide policies and standards. Convert business needs into outcomes and deliver a value‑aligned roadmap while being willing to build, configure and validate solutions across M365, Azure and endpoint platforms to land secure, reliable services — always routed through Group IT oversight and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary local interface with Group IT
  • Shape, prioritise and track the local demand backlog and associated benefits and budgets with necessary approvals and Group level direction at every stage.
  • Hands‑on support configuration/testing across Entra ID/Intune/Autopilot, Teams/SharePoint, print (Ricoh/PaperCut), and basic network/Wi‑Fi as delegated by Group IT.
  • Coordinate NetSuite (HIVE) impacts and dependencies with Group programmes through Group IT governance.
  • Champion Azure cloud‑first readiness and server move assessments in line with Group IT architecture and plans.
  • Embed ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials alignment, data retention and backup posture; coordinate pen tests and remediation.
  • Own service quality with the Global Service Desk/MSPs; drive CSI and problem management in line with defined service expectations.
  • Manage vendor SoWs, commercials and KPIs; ensure clean handover to BAU for all engagements and decisions.

Key Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Stakeholder management and commercial acumen in multi‑entity settings.
  • Portfolio shaping and benefits realisation; RAID/dependency management.
  • Technical breadth across M365, Entra ID, Intune/Autopilot, Azure fundamentals, Teams/SharePoint, print and site networking.
  • Strong written/oral communication with executive‑ready reporting.
  • Vendor orchestration and contract hygiene.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in IT/Business or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of similar roles with hands‑on configuration or engineering exposure.
  • Evidence of landing roadmaps across cloud/workplace/security domains
