
Your Role
The Command Control Center (BSOC) team is responsible for executing and monitoring batch operations and Technology Operations Center (TOC) events to assure successful execution and completion within required timelines The Batch / TOC Operator will report to the Shift Supervisor In this role you will provide L1 support for BSOC Operations and in general, work with other operations teams to ensure batch and enterprise applications are operating efficiently and drive continuous improvement. You will resolve incidents with support of L2 and L3 teams and drive problem management to ensure incidents do not recur and develop solutions that improve business outcomes for BSOC Operations
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Execute and monitor batch operations and network operations center (NOC) events to assure successful execution and completion within required timelines.
Provide technical direction and proactive solutions to ensure optimal performance of batch schedule and ensure compliance with batch window
Provide secondary level of support, analysis, troubleshooting, and triage to resolve batch operations and/or NOC events.
Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience.
Prefer 1 year of experience with an enterprise job scheduler and/or network operations or monitoring role
Proficiency with monitoring tools like BigPanda, Dynatrace, Solarwinds, and Splunk is preferred.
Requires availability to work a scheduled overnight shift from Saturday to Wednesday from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am or Monday to Friday 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.
Proficiency with MS Office applications, Service Marketplace, and reporting or dashboarding tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Experience with cloud services, automation, and scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python is preferred.
