Job Description

• To design, implement, maintain, and support our expanding network infrastructure, while ensuring alignment with corporate security policies at the local level within a banking environment.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network protocols, troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to optimizing network performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure to meet business and operational needs.
• Configure, install, and maintain networking devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across on-premise and cloud-based environments.
• Respond to network related incidents and participate in change management processes.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to implement and uphold network security best practices.
• Conduct capacity planning and recommend upgrades to support future growth and performance.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong track record in enterprise network design and management.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and security standards.
• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, and OSPF.
• Proven experience with firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and implementing network security best practices.
• Certifications such as CCNP, Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, and CompTIA Network+ are advantageous
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty is considered a strong plus.
