The APP Business Analyst Product Manager supports Huatai International’s evolution of AI-powered app to drive overseas business. This role will define product features, translate business needs into clear requirements, and work closely with engineering and AI teams to enhance client experience, decision support, and operational efficiency by incorporating AI‑driven capabilities.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements, covering core investment features and AI‑enabled functions.
  • Identify and define AI use cases within the mobile app, including how AI integrates into user journeys, business workflows, and client interactions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and process flows for mobile and backend development teams.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented.
  • Act as a key liaison between business users, technology teams, and control functions.
  • Coordinate requirement sign‑off, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation review for features.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation, validation of product features, and coordination of issue resolution.
  • Analyze user feedback, usage data, and production issues to identify improvements to user experience, functionality, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain high‑quality documentation, including business requirement documents, functional specifications, process diagrams, and release notes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in a Business Analyst role or Product management on digital platforms, mobile apps, or online investment systems.
  • Experience in financial services (securities brokerage, wealth management, investment platforms) is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to projects involving AI, data analytics, automation, or intelligent applications is a strong advantage.
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into clear, structured requirements suitable for AI or technology implementation.
  • Good understanding of financial services workflows and operating models; knowledge of regulatory or compliance considerations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled solutions (e.g. AI copilots, intelligent workflows, analytics, decision support tools) from a business perspective.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and audience‑appropriate documentation for both business and technical teams.
  • Understanding of Agile or iterative delivery methodologies is preferred.
