In a context in a context of significant business and IT transformation, the primary role of the job is to lead the technology teams that manage, develop the tools used to manage a variety of applications connected to product and services data. The key applications managed are: PIM (Product Information Management), Pricing tools and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), service management. This role will work directly with their internal customer who is the business leader for merchandising and services. Close relationship with other key business experts and Product Owners (PO) will be key to ensure an exceptional service is provided to the internal client. Leveraging their own teams technical experts and knowledge to deliver this exceptional service will be a key to the success factor.

Your main missions and objectives:

  • Obtain a high level of satisfaction from the merchandising leaders
  • Define and implement comprehensive technical capabilities and plans to enable the merchandising department strategy
  • Collaborate with Merchandising teams to automate service and processes enabling agents to do higher value work while reduce cost to service.
  • Leverage the latest developments in the selected technology partners to ensure the company maximizes benefits from purchased software.
  • Develop, monitor and improve key performance indicators for accountable technology products and stay within agreed SLAs
  • Identify and implement measures to reduce to total cost of ownership while improving capabilities provided to users
  • Develop manager and expert talents to create a healthy succession of key roles within the Merchandising IT team
  • Act as a general leader within the IT organization and be a trusted advisor to the Group IS Director and the IT Leadership Team
  • Active member of the IT leadership Team to drive the overall IT strategy

Essential experiences and skills:

  • Proven ability to coach and develop a high performing team
  • 3-5 years managing managers and top technology talent
  • +5 years of experience delivering and operating technology, preferable in a merchandising, sales, service, ecommerce or Marketing technology role
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
  • Strong analytical skills with a data driven mindset
  • Ability to collaborate, build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work at all management levels (executive management to operational teams)
  • Ability to innovate
