IT Solutions Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX (some work from home)

Essential Job Functions:

• Design and Implement Solutions Create and document complex enterprise solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with standards and planning for a smooth transition from the current state to the future state. May involve coordinating with distributed teams, testing, and deployment.

• Cross-Functional Communication Effectively communicate across diverse teams and locations, navigating different personalities and team dynamics to accomplish tasks.

• Requirements Gathering Collaborate with IT application owners to identify and define business needs and technical requirements.

• Technical Analysis Conduct technical evaluations, including cost/benefit analysis, to ensure solutions align with company objectives.

• Facilitate Design Discussions Lead solution design meetings and participate in project teams to ensure design solutions are clearly understood and implemented.

• Vendor and Contract Management Work through complex contracts, including engaging new vendors and managing agreements such as MSAs and NDAs.

• Project Management Manage key variables such as time, money, and risk to achieve business goals. Risk management experience is a plus.

• Technology Evaluation Participate in the evaluation and planning of new technologies, and regularly review existing systems to recommend improvements.

• Incident Resolution Assist in incident resolution and problem analysis as needed.

• Team Leadership Manage individuals to maximize their potential, guiding them towards achieving business goals.

Additional Job Functions:

• Project Support Assist with project tracking, status reports, and team or scrum meetings.

• Approvals and Reviews Support software, hardware, and project approvals, and review software and vendor contracts.

• Cost Control Help manage IT costs and identify opportunities to reduce spending.

• General Duties Perform other tasks as assigned.
