IT Manager – Risk Assurance

The opportunity

We are looking for an IT Manager with cloud and IT risk and audit focus. The successful candidate will manage IT projects (cloud), IT audits, IT support of financial audits, IT risk assessments, IT control assessments, ERP process reviews, technical security risk assessments and consulting engagements. We are looking for professionals having IT and business process experience and great communication skills.

The role will be based in our Budapest office, but international travel may be involved.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in enterprise risk management implementations
• Support our Clients in strategy and execution for the compliance program to include Cloud policies or SOC2 or SOX or GDPR and other regulatory data handling certifications
• Delivering exceptional client service and acting as trusted advisor for our clients
• Recognizing new business opportunities that create value for our clients and turning them into projects
• Planning and responsible for delivering IT Cloud projects or Risk projects or Audits successfully, ensuring profitability of projects, handling the administrative tasks as manager
• Coaching and responsible for the development of junior colleagues, acting as team leader with the support of partners

• Flexible and mobile, prepared to work on international assignments even on a short notice

To qualify for the role you must have

• University degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science and/or Economics, Software Engineering
• 6+ years’ experience in IT cloud or risk or audit, leading IT audits and smaller teams
• Broad understanding of authorization concepts, preferably for SAP and segregation of duties in IT and business terms
• Experience in ERP systems, processes and application controls
• Solid writing and communication skills, fluent in English and Hungarian

Ideally you will also have:

• Relevant professional certifications (CISA, CISM, SOX, ISAE etc.)
• Broad understanding of industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001-2 and/or COBIT and/or ITIL)
