A leading group of companies in Dubai is looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee its technology infrastructure, systems, networks, and cybersecurity across multiple business entities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and strategic alignment of IT services to meet business needs.

This role includes managing a team of IT professionals, external vendors, and technology service providers, while leading projects that drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute IT strategies aligned with the groups overall objectives.

• Lead the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades across the group.

• Recommend and implement best practices for continuous IT improvement.

2. IT Operations & User Support

• Oversee daily IT operations across group companies including software, hardware, and helpdesk support.

• Ensure high levels of system uptime and user satisfaction.

• Establish and maintain IT policies and standard operating procedures.

3. Infrastructure & Network Management

• Manage both on-premise and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure).

• Monitor performance, security, and availability of systems and networks.

• Coordinate data backups, recovery, and business continuity plans.

4. Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Ensure data security and compliance with UAE Data Protection Laws, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and regular system audits.

• Oversee risk management strategies for IT systems.

5. Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage contracts and relationships with IT vendors and service providers.

• Handle IT procurement, software licensing, and hardware sourcing.

• Prepare and monitor the annual IT budget and reduce operational costs.

6. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the IT Support Team, Network Administrators, and System Analysts

• Conduct performance evaluations and manage professional development plans.

• Promote a collaborative, service-oriented culture across the IT team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Masters preferred).

• Minimum 710 years of IT management experience, including 3+ years in a multi-company or group environment

• Hands-on experience in networking, systems administration, cloud platforms, and ERP systems

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ITIL, or other IT governance frameworks.

• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and high-stakes environments
