To support our ambitious sales roadmap, we are looking for an IT Manager Global Field Sales Applications, who will drive the global IT field sales tool strategy with a bold, future‑focused agenda. In this role you’ll sit in IT and at the frontline of Sales, turning ambitious commercial goals into a powerful, AI‑enabled applications portfolio deployed at scale. Leading a high‑impact team, you will drive the application roadmap, steer global rollouts, and relentlessly push adoption and performance to turn our global field sales applications into a clear competitive advantage

DRIVE THE GLOBAL IT FIELD SALES TOOL STRATEGY

You will drive and prioritize the end-to-end global field sales tool roadmap in close alignment with the sales leadership team and other key stakeholders to advance field sales process automation and digitalization, including the use of AI technologies. In this context, you will also be responsible for monitoring the retail execution software market and managing both existing and new IT software partners.

LEAD AND DEVELOP YOUR TEAM

In this role, you’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of IT Project Managers and IT Service Owners. You’ll set clear goals and expectations, provide guidance and feedback, and build a high-performing, empowered team that consistently delivers value to the business.

ACCOUNTABILITY FOR GLOBAL ROLLOUTS AND OPERATIONS

As IT Manager Global Field Sales Applications you’ll hold accountability for global tool rollouts and ongoing operations. You’ll ensure robust governance, clear standards, and efficient processes so that implementations are successful, adoption is strong, and services are reliable, scalable, and compliant.

DRIVE ADOPTION AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

By partnering with global sales stakeholders and local markets you’ll proactively drive user adoption. Together with your team, you collect and prioritize feedback, evaluate performance, and steer continuous improvement initiatives that increase the effectiveness and return on investment of our field sales applications.

Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science/ similar study or equivalent practical experience

Fluent English skills, German is a plus

At least 5 years of working experience with field sales applications, preferably within the FMCG industry

A minimum of 5 years of leadership and people management experience, including responsibility for teams in an application/IT context

Proven track record of strategic ownership for an applications or services portfolio, including roadmap definition and prioritization

Strong IT and AI expertise, with a solid understanding of how to apply AI technologies to business processes and digital solutions to drive effectiveness & efficiency

Program & Project Management Expertise is a plus

Excellent communication and strong leadership skills with the ability to set direction, make decisions, manage stakeholders, inspire and develop your team

Self-motivated team player, performance and results-oriented paired with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,879 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
