Job Description

Reporting directly to the CTO and collaborating with the InfoSec team, you will play a key role in leading Upbits technology operations for digital-asset trading, technology infrastructure and technology management to run smoothly and effectively with optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT team personnel, including collaborations with Software Development and IT Security team.
• Manage the operation of IT tasks in compliance with company policy, SEC regulations and Global standards.
• Manage IT processes, IT documentation control and reporting duties required by regulators.
• Manage all aspects of localized IT systems including digital-asset trading system, wallet management, reporting systems, etc.
• Lead the IT team to handle all computer administration and activities, such as systems monitoring, hardware, software, applications, networking issues and data inventory management.
• Support CTO and coordinate with the IT Security team to design annual IT strategy plans and budgets.

• Coordinate with the developer team for all localized IT project developments.
• Ensure that all documents which employees need to follow are updated regularly, and lead the team to give necessary IT training to staff to comply with IT policy.
• Research and recommend new approaches to improve the technology and documentation process.
• Provide technical support, IT consultant and training to staff when requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or any related field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or similar role.
• Experience working in a management position.
• Experience with databases, networks, various operating systems and platforms.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
• Have knowledge and experience of AWS cloud computing and MYSQL.
• High interpersonal skills with patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
• Ability to communicate well in English and Thai.
• Well-versed, analytical in analyzing risk in various aspects for the Company's business, evaluating internal controls.
• Strong sense of responsibility and a good team player, willing to handle all support requests with professionalism and problem-solving with positive aptitude.
• Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.

Bonus Points for:

• Professional certification related to IT System Administration is a plus.
• Ability to analyze algorithms, modify existing source-code.
• Familiarity with SEC IT regulations.
• Familiarity with Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and Fintech industry.
