The IT MAC Manager for Precinct 2 is responsible for planning, coordinating, documenting, approving, and executing all technology-related moves, adds, and changes (MAC) across Precinct 2 Infrastructure. This includes project planning, development of technology schematics, approval routing, procurement, installation oversight, cost tracking, coordination with Harris County Universal Services (HCUS), and overseeing IT MAC team members.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans including timelines, schematics, and resource requirements.
Provide leadership and direction to the IT MAC team to ensure effective coordination, workload alignment, and successful project execution.
Create technical schematics and documentation required for internal approval prior to project initiation.
Ensure all projects, including changes, have proper documented approvals before work begins.
Coordinate procurement of assets, track delivery, and oversee installation and configuration.
Serve as Precinct 2 liaison to Harris County Universal Services for project scope and coordination.
Track all project costs and provide financial reporting to internal customers.
Monitor project progress, maintain schedules, and provide updates to stakeholders.
Ensure projects adhere to Harris County technology standards and precinct operational approvals.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline required.
Experience:
Experience developing technology schematics and tracking project budgets.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to develop technology schematics, wiring diagrams, and structural layout documentation for an enterprise environment.
Basic project management experience from concept through completion.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, and hardware deployment.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and track costs effectively.

1+ years of IT project management experience preferred.
Hours:
A regular full-time position, requiring the employee to work 40 hours per week. This may include weekends and holidays.
