Role: IT Lead Platform Architect
Location: Krakow – 3 days/week onsite
Based in our new IT hub at Unity Tower in Krakow, this is an exciting opportunity to join Galderma’s growing IT presence in Poland as an IT Lead Enterprise Platform Architect As the company continues to grow globally, we are investing in the technology and platforms that support our business, our partners, and ultimately the healthcare professionals and patients we serve.
In this role, you will define how Galderma’s core business systems and platforms evolve, ensuring they support the company’s continued growth and transformation.
Working closely with senior IT and business leaders, you will shape the architecture for our enterprise applications and platforms, helping ensure systems across the organisation connect effectively, scale with the business, and enable innovation. This is a highly strategic role, responsible for setting the direction for how our application and platform landscape develops as Galderma continues to expand globally.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap for Galderma’s global platforms and applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy and long-term objectives.
Shape the future architecture of our enterprise systems, guiding how applications, data, and platforms integrate and evolve across the organisation.
Partner with senior IT and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into practical technology and architecture plans.
Identify opportunities to modernise and optimise the application landscape, including the adoption of cloud technologies, improved integrations, and emerging capabilities such as advanced analytics and AI.
Lead the evolution and governance of the enterprise application portfolio, ensuring systems are scalable, standardised, and aligned with architecture principles.
Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, influencing technology decisions, investment priorities, and digital transformation initiatives.
Build and support a community of architects and technical leaders, promoting best practices, collaboration, and consistent architectural standards across IT.
Represent enterprise architecture in strategic planning and governance forums, communicating architecture direction, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Skills and Experiences
15+ years of experience in IT, including extensive experience in enterprise architecture, application architecture, preferably in the healthcare or manufacturing industry, within a global corporate setting.
Expertise in integrating enterprise systems, including ERP and CRM.
Deep understanding of Software Engineering, Architectural Standards and Principles, Enterprise Architecture, and end-to-end (E2E) solution design.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience working with integration technologies and platforms (Boomi, Solace, Blueway, Go-Anywhere, Informatica, Azure, etc.).
Participated in large / enterprise technology transformations
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices in regulated environments
Fluent in English
