About The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of our global Digital organization, with a passion to drive Digital transformation within the Finance function. This will be a hands-on lead role, owning implementations and operations, partnering with various teams both internal and external. The candidate must have strong technical and leadership experience in implementing and supporting Finance capabilities and business processes using core platforms like SAP, Ariba, Kyriba etc. leveraging internal and external resources in a large multinational corporation or in other complex environments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Leads teams during project planning, analysis, design, build, test, go live and hyper care phases of project implementation.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with functional owners and CoE teams. Uses deep technical and process knowledge to drive engagement.
• Manages external implementation partners, software vendors and service providers. Participates to develop request for proposals/quote, works to develop project proposals and statements of work.
• Demonstrates broad project leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of immediate team and drives change.
• Manage ongoing operations to ensure solutions are performing as expected and meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Drive innovation within the Finance function via business systems and process transformation.
• Partner with vendors and system providers to assess platform capabilities and find opportunities for cost savings, productivity, process streamlining, simplification and improved user experience (high availability, migration to cloud, real time transparency, etc.).
• Support the overall Carrier Transformation goals, including shared services enablement, global Treasury solutions and process simplification/optimization across the board.
• Develop peer, cross-functional relationships to leverage best practices, maximize solution quality, and drive user adoption.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field with 8+ years of IT experience in Finance Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record and experience in managing and supporting Finance with large global enterprises across multiple legal entities in a highly complex systems and project environment.
• Action oriented and results driven with an ability to drive new and innovative solutions in alignment to the organizations / functions strategy.
• Prior hands-on experience in ERP implementations (preferably SAP) and other corporate systems (e.g., Ariba, TMS).
• Comfortable making timely, difficult decisions to ensure priorities meet critical business needs and timelines.
• Experience with S4 HANA Central Finance and other solutions like Ariba, Concur, Kyriba etc. is a plus
• Good understanding and experience of modern software development methodologies and experience with SAP implementation methodologies.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with high internal drive with an ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information.
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills; able to mediate opposing viewpoints; work well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and experience working with decision makers in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
• Ability to communicate with key business partners clearly and succinctly is essential, including senior executives.
• Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills are essential.
