Job Description

The IT Intern will support the Clinical Platforms and Infrastructure teams in delivering technology-driven solutions across the organization. This internship provides exposure to modern workplace technologies, cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and agile software development practices. The intern will contribute to strategic IT initiatives and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

of Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the transformation of user experience technologies within the modern workplace.

  • Support technical debt remediation and application modernization efforts.

  • Contribute to the formation and sustainability of Cloud and IT Service Operation Centers of Excellence.

  • Assist in front-end development tasks and collaborate with the Clinical Platforms team.

  • Engage in technical project management and agile delivery practices.

  • Learn and apply industry-standard tools and methodologies in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a University degree in one of the following or related fields:

- Computer Science

- Computer Engineering

- Information Technology

- Software Engineering

- Management Information Systems

- Security and Risk Analysis

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in AI/ML, software tools, or IT infrastructure.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of current industry standards and trending technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.

  • Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.

  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

  • Regular and consistent attendance.

  • Varied hours may be required.
