About the Role
As an IT Intern, you will support the On-Site IT team in delivering reliable IT services within a manufacturing environment. This is an entry-level, development-focused role where you will gain hands-on experience while contributing to daily IT operations.
Working alongside experienced IT Technicians across an international team, you will assist with routine operational tasks, helping ensure smooth IT service delivery. The role provides a structured learning environment with close supervision, giving you the opportunity to build practical IT knowledge and develop essential technical skills.
You will report to the IT Team Leader and be part of an international On-Site IT team of 12 colleagues located across Slovakia, Poland, Sweden, and the Netherlands, offering exposure to a diverse and collaborative working environment.
What You Will Do
IT Equipment Support: Assist with preparation, setup, and distribution of end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and peripherals
User Lifecycle Support: Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment handling and basic system access preparation under guidance
Ticket Management: Log, categorize, and route IT support tickets accurately within IT Service Management tools
End-User Assistance: Provide first-level support for low-complexity requests such as password resets and basic hardware troubleshooting
IT Asset Administration: Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and documentation in line with established procedures
Operational Support: Assist IT Technicians with routine on-site IT activities in a manufacturing environment
On-Call Participation: Support 24/7 IT operations (if required) by handling initial requests, logging tickets, and escalating issues according to defined procedures
Who You Are
Ongoing education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or early-stage technical education from a technical school
No professional experience required; initial exposure through studies, internships, projects, or part-time work is an advantage
Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and workplace technologies, including mobile devices, PCs, and standard office tools
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a structured environment
Communicative English and Polish skills to collaborate within an international team
