Arthrex is actively searching for a student pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems or related degree to support our IT team. The IT Quality and Regulatory team in Naples, FL (Arthrex One) supports the Quality and Regulatory business groups globally. This requires an understanding of Quality System Regulations and their requirements, as well as, the implementation of processes and systems that comply with applicable regulations. The successful candidate will be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of on-premises and cloud technology. The candidate is expected to gain and demonstrate knowledge of Arthrex Quality System Processes, and work towards becoming knowledgeable to provide guidance to IT and Business team members who are further removed from the Arthrex Quality System(s). The individual will follow established methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements and use cases with acceptance criteria. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner. This internship will run from May 2026 – August 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

To support the improvement and understanding of the foundation of systems within Arthrex IT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Quality System Procedures, including but not limited to, Non-Product Software Validation/Computer System (Software) Assurance and IT Change Management.
  • Understand processes, as well as, recommend solutions regarding high-quality requirement builds.
  • Communicate effectively to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Participate in Application Analysis, Configuration, Testing, Management, and Maintenance in an Enterprise environment.
  • Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, detailed functional requirements, operational requirements, process flows, and manual and automated test cases.
  • Support company initiatives to digitize our CSA/Non-Product Software Validation Process (NPSW), including risk assessments, validation summary reports, and other process artifacts.
  • Aid in Subject Matter Expert (SME) audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or a recent graduate within the last six months required. Junior or above studying Computer Information Systems or similar preferred.
    (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Basic knowledge of application analysis, configuration and testing methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of technical options, limitations, costs and risks.
  • Strong communication skills.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
