Hours:

8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday; other days and hours as needed. Hours may fluctuate and exceed 40 hours in some weeks.

Role:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the bank’s IT infrastructure. In addition to the day-to-day system administration duties, this position is responsible for assisting vendors in support of networks, cloud environments, and tech support frameworks to keep the business agile, secure, and always online.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical leadership within the department.
  • Windows Server administration duties
  • VMware management duties
  • Ensures proper security and disaster recovery capabilities are maintained
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery plan
  • Oversee the maintenance of user profile security
  • Manage IT projects following the IT Project Management methodology, ensuring projects come in on time and within budget
  • Manage the IT Generalist who is directly responsible for the Desktop and Help Desk team
  • Manage IaaS and other Infrastructure vendors
  • Perform on-site and remote technical support
  • Maintain excellent communication with IT management on all tasks and projects.
  • Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
  • Provide emergency on-call support
  • Interfaces with software vendors to solve problems experienced with their software
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Conduct all actions consistent with quality customer service, friendliness, and the overall mission of the bank
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience:

Required Experience

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 10 years specializing in the Infrastructure side
  • History of building, testing, and running systems with low Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
  • Experience with Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN), firewalls, and VPNs
  • Experience managing environments in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Ability to personally configure systems, resolve complex technical issues, and function as the final tier of technical support
  • Ability to provide on-call support

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Office 365
  • Experience with Webex Calling
  • Experience with NOC Management
  • Experience in integration and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • IT or IT Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, MCP) are preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Skilled in connecting common business platforms such as Microsoft 365, HR Tools, and identity providers such as Okta or Entra ID
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and willingness to assist others

  • Proficient in Windows network setup, administration, maintenance, and upgrades
