About the role
We are seeking a technically capable and motivated IT Architect to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of data centre and infrastructure solutions across a diverse regional environment. As part of a collaborative APAC team, this role contributes to the delivery of secure, reliable, and efficient IT services across multiple L3Harris subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will act as a technical contact on infrastructure-related projects, working closely with peers, stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts within and beyond the Asia Pacific region, and service owners to ensure solutions meet operational requirements and compliance standards. The role also includes occasional customer support, particularly in escalated or high-impact scenarios.
An understanding of defence-grade security requirements is desirable, along with experience supporting audit activities such as Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP).
Travel between both sites in Eight Mile Plains and Hamilton, as needed.
About you
To be successful in this role, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience in systems administration or infrastructure support within enterprise environments.
Familiarity with server hardware, virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, macOS).
Understanding of network architecture including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi technologies.
Exposure to enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), backup solutions (Cohesity, Veeam), and data replication.
Knowledge of security frameworks and tools relevant to regulated or classified environments.
Experience supporting audits and compliance activities, including DRP.
