Job Description

We are seeking several dedicated and proactive IT Helpdesk Supports to join our secondment team in our banking client. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in IT support and must be fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Senior candidates would be considered as IT Engineers and System Engineers. 5 days work no shift, location Central.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support to bank staff via phone, email, and in-person.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring computer systems and applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Set up meeting room equipment and provide online meeting support.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates on IT equipment and systems.
  • Provide support for IT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's IT policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both Cantonese and Mandarin is a must; Able to communicate and write in English.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in IT support or related fields.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry.

1 year secondment contract would be provided to successful candidates.

Candidates with more experience would be considered as Senior Engineers.
