ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Act as the primary point of contact for daily IT issues, handling and resolving tickets for employees through company's ticketing system and internal comms.
  • Provide IT solutions to employees in non-technical and comprehensible terms.
  • Prepare new equipment by performing imaging, asset tagging, and hardware and software installation.
  • Install, troubleshoot and upgrade/replace computer hardware parts as required.
  • Keep and maintain asset inventory up to date, including but not limited to tracking hardware, software licenses and other relevant equipment, to ensure accurate records and efficient resource management.
  • Assist with the management of IT tickets, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure follow-up on issues and requests.
  • Work closely with senior members of IT department to diagnose and resolve complex issues and optimise support processes.
  • Ensure Security best practices are applied on all workstations & laptops.
  • Assist with project management tasks, such as planning, coordination, and implementation of new technologies or service enhancements.
  • Maintain current documentation of internal systems and knowledge base articles for both the IT team and end-users.
  • Ensure adequate meeting room configuration. Configure and deliver technical support for company-wide events.
  • Take initiative to identify and implement solutions that optimise workflows and reduce resolution times.
  • Ensure consistent desktop setups and tidy cable management across all user workstations.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT support environment and technical support to end users.
  • Experience managing Windows Active Directory and productivity services (Office 365, Azure).
  • Expertise in Windows devices support (PC and laptops).
  • Knowledge of latest PC hardware (Motherboards, CPU, Graphics cards).
  • Good knowledge of Computer Hardware & Software installation/troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of Networking and Cabling.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and work autonomously, as well as work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task are essential.
  • People-oriented approach combined with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to securely manage sensitive data, ensuring compliance with various policies and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise.
  • Good English skills (spoken and written).

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Video Games Industry.
  • Possess industry-recognised certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA.
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting consoles’ development kits.
