Job Description

AmeriSave is currently hiring a Help Desk professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven and passionate about playing a key role in our company’s growth. Candidates must be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tier 1 level technical and procedural assistance via phone, email and chat
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research issues using available information resources
• Implement issue resolution and/or advise user on appropriate action
• Follow standard help desk procedures
• Log all help desk interactions
• Redirect problems to tier 2 and tier 3 level support as required
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates
• Assist senior IT staff as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; some college coursework required
• Working knowledge of Windows 11
• Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite
• Ability to assist others with complex issues in a professional manner
• Learning and initiative skills
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet. Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).

Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
