Civica is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled and motivated IT Hardware Engineer who will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our advanced IT hardware infrastructure.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about technology to contribute to a dynamic team and support our organization’s technical needs with innovative hardware solutions.

Manage Civica’s IT hardware inventory, providing our team with the crucial tools they require to succeed. You'll oversee the complete lifecycle of desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and peripherals—from procurement and assembly to support, updates, and decommissioning.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware – from purchasing and building to supporting and decommissioning.
  • Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Keep accurate records of IT assets and licenses.
  • Provide occasional onsite support for AV equipment.
  • Review and resolve tickets in line with Civica processes.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Delivering IT hardware services: managing incidents, service requests, and asset registers.
  • Technical knowledge of device administration, configuration, and break/fix for EUC and server hardware.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.

Experience with:

  • Microsoft Configuration Manager (endpoint deployment)
  • Microsoft Intune & Autopilot (MDM)
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (security)
  • Microsoft Entra ID (identity management)
  • Application & policy management
