Job Description

The SAP Supply Chain & Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) position is responsible for the implementation, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP Supply Chain and Warehouse Management solutions in support of our Dining division. This role partners closely with Retail & Dining Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Master Data, Logistics, and IT teams to ensure efficient planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes across the organization.

The position focuses on optimizing supply chain operations, warehouse execution, inventory visibility, material flow, and logistics processes to support high-volume, perishable, and demand-driven food service operations. This is an Atlanta, GA based position that requires you to live in the metro Atlanta area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAP Supply Chain & EWM Configuration and Support

  • Implement, configure, and support SAP Supply Chain and EWM solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize supply chain, inventory, and warehouse management processes, workflows, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP SCM and EWM system issues and process inefficiencies.
  • Perform system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment of new functionalities.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical and functional documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and SAP best practices.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and business stakeholders.

Warehouse Management & Logistics Execution

  • Configure and support SAP EWM functionalities including inbound processing, outbound processing, inventory management, slotting, replenishment, and warehouse task management.
  • Support warehouse operations involving receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping processes.
  • Optimize warehouse workflows to improve inventory accuracy, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Configure storage types, storage sections, work centers, and warehouse process types.

Inventory & Materials Management Integration

  • Collaborate with SAP Materials Management (MM) teams to manage procurement, inventory, and material movement processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration between EWM, MM, and other SAP modules for stock visibility, batch management, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support inventory tracking for perishable goods, shelf-life management, batch-controlled materials, and stock rotation processes.
  • Monitor and improve inventory accuracy through cycle counting and physical inventory processes.

Supply Chain Planning & Optimization

  • Support supply chain planning processes including demand forecasting, replenishment planning, inventory optimization, and distribution requirements planning.
  • Assist in improving material flow across warehouses, commissaries, distribution centers, and restaurant locations.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Dining Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, and Finance teams to gather and translate business requirements.
  • Support integration with Finance, Transportation, Procurement, Inventory Management, and third-party logistics systems.
  • Participate in project planning, design workshops, testing cycles, and implementation activities.

System Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Troubleshoot SAP SCM and EWM issues and optimize workflows.
  • Deliver system enhancements, upgrades, and testing cycles.
  • Support change management activities and user adoption initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed technical, process, and functional documentation.
